Goals of the project




Strategic goal:The strategic objective of the project is to increase research and development potential of the Bratislava region in electrical engineering for socio-economic practices and international VTS cooperation. The strategic objective of the project was defined with respect to the global objective of the Operational Research and Development Program. Modernizing and streamlining the system to support research and development and improve infrastructure of the universities so as to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the economy, reduce regional disparities, the emergence of new innovative (high-tech) for small and medium-sized enterprises, creating new jobs and improving the conditions of the educational process in higher schools - these are the areas that are trying to be the most comprehensive way to cover the present project
Research goal: Resolving the project will certainly increase the contribution to the economic development of Slovakia and quality research, transfer of results into the practice and high quality of education for young professionals.

Specific goals:The project has four specific goals which were chosen in order to work towards meeting the strategic goal of the project and to be easily measurable. Scope of the specific objectives are elaborated in the various activities.

All activities are directly linked to the existing results of research activities carried out by the applicant and partners.
•  Developing of the Centre of the Excellence by networking the excellence workplaces
•  Facilities of the Centre with the crest apparatus necessary for the implementation of ongoing and upcoming projects:
               ·  Laboratory for metal coating (evaporation system)
               ·  Laboratory for the preparation and shaping of nanostructures (FIB)
               ·  Laboratory for the detection of clusters (LAB-GISAXS)
•  Increasing of the level of information and communication technology of the Centre (including security)
•  Centre integration to the regional and international cooperation
